LOOONG TIME NO SEE! SOOOooo I have gotten SUPER into Sonic (Shadow) the hedgehog lately, after I finished Sonic prime, to the point i'm hunting for the games to play them, I listen to sonic game music all the time and watch deep dives about the characters to catch up to the lore. AND ofcouse, as I am an artist, I wanted to make a CRiNGe Sonic oc! (This is actually my second sonic oc) So let me introduce and tell you a little bit about...

Flute (Bloodquill) the Porcupine!
He was originally just made to be a edgy lightheartedly cringy joke oc but I sort of got REALLY emotionally attached to him... To the point I made a 4 way turnaround refsheet for 3D model of him, and i'm making a (not marketable) plushie of him aswell. The hype is real bois... (Bloodquill addition is kind of a hint towards that the character wasn't meant to be serious character)

So a little about Flute:
His personality: He basically thinks he is a god, he has a massive ego and he's sort of a diva (a person who is difficult to please and behaves as if they are very special or important)
Powers: He has no special powers
Weapon of choice: Flute's primary weapon is a flute, that has the ability to freeze time around him in a wide range. Everyone and everything inside the time freezing area (except the flute user) freezes in place. Try to run through the range? you'll get stuck. Try to throw an object inside the range? it freezes and floats still in the air. Simple!

Weaknesses (character): Overconfidence and big ego, short temper,
Weaknesses (weapon): Fragility, limited range of the power and time of use, vulnerability during playing the flute,

Fears: Being powerless against time's flow. Flute has a deep rooted fear of time itself, and the idea of time eventually catching up to him. (that's why he thinks he is a god, when he got a way to completely control the very thing he fears the most),
losing his powers. Since he thinks he is a god and treats himself as the most important person there is, he also fears that he could lose his time freezing power and become "mortal" and ordinary. This fear drives him into actively seeking ways to permanently gain him immortality and agelessness.

other info: I'm shaping out his character and balance so he doesn't actually become too OP, or a mary sue oc. I'd be happy to hear your thoughts about him and suggestions if you have some? I'm still new to the sonic universe lore, i don't know about the purpose of "chaos emeralds" or the rings except the fact that the rings prevent you from dying. (in game)
