The first model painted after a long time. This actually displays a Overlord Class Battlecruiser of the Segmentum Pacificus fleet. The shipΒ΄s name is supposed to be "Intractabilis" which means adamant in Latin.ΒNote that I had to replace the turrets on top by customs.

YouΒ΄re so right! Abandoning Epic and Battlefleet was the last step GW could take to cut itself lose from all what made the original warhammer 40k universe so cool and unique. For what? Pulling more and more money out of our purses?
How ironical: GW took the same path as the human empire did after itΒ΄s golden age. And so, BG and Epic somehow became another kind of ancient technology by now...

Indeed!! I keep trying to get back round to my dads house where all my epic models are. Got i think maybe five armies. My wife and I still play BG sometimes as well but I hate how they cut them! Once the mold is made whats the point in not making models? they're money grabbing gits!
I loved the analogies that they've become the Imperium. Truly epic was when Horus walked not the dark dank times we live in now
