Und wieder inspiriert von meiner Schwester. Sie hat mir ausrangierte Leinwände von Münchner Künstlern mitgebracht und ich habe Ihnen ein neues Leben als reich verziertes Korsett gegeben. Durch die Eigenheiten des Materials hat das Korsett ein Eigenleben entwickelt, die Formen beeinflusst und eine interessante Textur ergeben. Um Opulenz zu unterstreichen ist die Hüfte des Korsetts besonders stark ausgestellt und wirkt so sehr barock.And inspired by my sister again. She brought me discarded canvases from Munich artists and I gave them a new life as abundantly adorned corset. The peculiarity of the material gave the corset a life of its own, influencing form and creating an interesting texture. To accentuate the opulence the waist of the corset is especially wide which gives it a baroque feel.

this is a really cool idea, I recall reading in my 20th century fashion book a top designer did something similar but on a dress but I can't remember who.

Thanks a lot. I wonder how that dress works. Painted canvas is really stiff. It works pretty well for a stiff garment like a corset, but dresses are usually more flowing.
