Yes I usedΒ Crayola colouring pencils^^
Thank you so much T^T
Sure I can share some tips if you like^^
Actually I was never good at colouring but then I
started using similar colours together such as the golden buckle
(yellow, golden yellow, orange, red)
and for the skin I used cream and tan for the shadow for his face
I also prefer having my pencilΒ sharpened so its easier to define.
I hope that help you in someΒ way^^
If you have Q's about anything feel free to ask^^Β

No problem glad to help^^
To answer your other questions
1. what do you mean by a "normal pencil"?
I mean you use what ever you like when it comes toΒ
drawing like you can use a pen or a colouring pencil to
draw with without your HB pencil but I would normal draw
out my drawing with my HB pencil first so I it precise^^
2. Yes I have to same problem but the only other way I sharpen
my pencil is to use my craft knife but its dangerous so I dontΒ
normal use that method.
I hope I helped a bit^^

Well there are pencils that range from hardest to softest (9H is hardest and 9B is softest)
I would use a range of these pencils to colour a pencil drawing.
For drawing a pic you lightly sketch it out with your HB pencil
When you want to outline you can use the same HB pencil (just putting pressure on it)
or a 2B pencil (which is a shade darker).
Β
If you dont want to outline with a pencil there are other things you can use.
You could use a normal pen or specialised pens for outlining
(a good brand would be (Faber-Castel Pitt artist pen) which comes in a pack of 4 (in Ireland anyway))
But to get a straight line when outlining it does take practise (Im not very good at straight lines thats
why I dont outline very much but I must do more of that XD)
Charcoal is quite messy but practise using it you will get good at it^^
(You can sketch with charcoal, there are many types of charcoal) but I dont
know much about how to use it when outlining im sorry about that T^TΒ
