~ Frodo Baggins, Bearer of the One Ring ~'I will take the Ring', he said, 'though I do not know the way"
Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit or Halfling from the Shire, was according to Bilbo Baggins his 'favourite nephew'. He became the most famous of all Hobbits in the histories for his leading role in the Quest of the Ring. During this epic journey, he bore the One Ring to Mount Doom where it was finally destroyed.
I wanted to depict him with Sting, his short sword that glows blue in the presence of Orcs, while clutching the Ring that hangs heavy around his neck.
This is a continuation of my The Lord of the Rings pencil drawings, for the upcoming Tolkien Tage event in Geldern, 24-26 May: @tolkien.ndrh
