Carrie fisher was Iconic from all of the star wars originals and the force awakens.sadly She had a heart attack on a plane on the 23 before Christmas Eve, but sadley on the 27 On 8:55 PM She passed away And lost one of the most Iconic Charaters in films
Who Knows who will take her place in the next sequel after the Force Awakens. But pray Hope will come for a new General Leia

As for who would replace her in any potential incomplete scenes, or in Episode VIII, a good choice could be either of her sisters, Joely Fisher or Tricia fisher. Or if she appears young in the Anthology films, Carrie's daughter Billie Lourd could do it. I bet Disney will possibly go this route.........
