The clouds were very unusuall that day (heavy rain came later), coloured from light grey to orange, the sky looked like one huge painting, pitty I can't reproduce it properly.--------------------
Thank you all once again for al your comments and faves, I really didn't expect you'd like this picture so much. You're great, guys!

Amazing cloud formation and colors. The warm hues in the clouds being similar to the buildings' stonework (and reflected light I'm sure) bring this together very well.

That's absolutely extraordinary! Only problem I have with it is the buildings to the right. since you cant change that, i still think it is utterly amazing.

the space around the cathedral is very narrow and there is one more building in front of it (which you don't see), so this was the only way i found to shoot it with the clouds
i know i could crop the picture, but if i wanted to preserve the site ratio, most of the coulds would be gone. and so...
