Description
So I was doodling around one day and I started drawing my (crocodile) character as all kinds of other species as she would look if she was one (meaning, I tried to adhere to their color-laws and whatnot instead of just giving them all the same color pallete), including ones from video games. I actually drew the other ones I'd done before these, but I finished this sheet first because there were less of them.
I'm still working on coloring the others for now. So here's the roll-call if they're not too obvious.Top left to right:Koopa Troopa, Katamari cousin, (DK) Kong, Deku Scrub.
Bottom left to right: Sonic-style hedgehog, Royal Koopa, Breegull.
So there we have it.
Koopas, Kongs and Dekus are Nintendo species,
Sonic-style Hedgehogs are Sega's
Breegulls are Rareware's
and the Katamari people are Namco's.
Winx however, belongs to me (Elizabeth Wilbanks).

Those assortments sure is a very cute concept. The Deku Scrub one is based on the Deku Princess, right?
You sure know how to logically apply any physical attribute to each of the "fan designs"... very nice indeed!

I like the Koopa!Winx and Hedgehog!Winx, but really, they all look great. I like how you drew them all in the style of each one, instead of just making them colors that wouldn't fit in that world.

Yeah... a hot-pink deku scrub probably wouldn't work out too well camoflage-wise in Hyrule.

Um... well, It's just something I drew for fun of my character, Winx, as some creature species from different video games... I don't see what there is not to get after that. ^..^;;

Awesomeness! It's always interesting to see how your character(s) will look like if they were in a different fandom then the one they were created for (if it's applicable) - many of my characters that I create weren't created for a specific fandom though...

Yeah...I was talking about non-fan characters made for personal worlds or stories when I said 'original characters' though. So ones you make yourself for a world you made yourself allow more freedoms than adhering to say, the rules of a Super Mario character. Sorry if I sounded misleading in my last post. But that's true... Got to be careful about becoming a Mary Sue...I don't think I'd ever been called that, but I think I may've come close, if not actually having been one in my younger days...Not proud of that, but nobody really seemed to hate me over it, I think... People do stuff that they regret later all the time at that age, I suppose... Ah well.
