This is really unique. I like it. Thought I'd commented on it before though, guess not.

wow! definately the most unique rendition of Lina I've ever seen :0 I think you captured her personality better than the anime/comic did. and how you made those cold shadows with a marker? respect.

O: Oo, thank you for the nice comment!
The colder-lookin' shadows were made with a pale purple/periwinkle-ish color. x3 Basically, I did all the normal skin-colored shadows, then applied some colorless blender. Then I put the purple in the choice places directly afterwards. ;o T'is my favorite sort of shading for markers.

Aw! SO cute.
These prismacolour markers are very hyped. Are they really that good?
What did you use for the lineart?
And, are the markers expensive?

Thanks! XD Wow, so many questions. (lol, only three, but I have a small brain)
They are fairly good, but I actually prefer Copic art markers. They blend much better and are easier to work with. :3
For lineart I used my lovely PITT brand brush pen. ;o Any brand of brush pen has the same effect, they all work very well~
And yesssss, they are very expensive. T.T For the entire set of Prismacolor markers, it's about $300. (at discount art stores such as Dick Blick) And about $3 per marker.
Copics, however, are about (I think) around $900 for the entire set (three sets = the whole set). D: The good thing about them is that there are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more colors. (216, I think. )
Hope I helped. And if you're considering getting a set of markers, getting a small set of each (probably primary or pastel colors) would work well. Then you could see which would better fit your needs. :3
