blah... lots of artists do crucifixion images, so i thought id try my hand at it too.it looks too empty to me.

i don't think you should worry about it being empty, since its pretty obvious what the focus is; the lines of the cross help break up that emptyness; thats how it looks to me anyways X3

The "emptiness" might be the result of the sort of plastic look this has. But then, maybe that's what you were going for. o-o Open the eyes and intensify the expression of pain, and plenty depth should result.
But all that aside, I think this looks damned nifty!
