Description While I wait for the next round of challenges from Fashion Fever, I decided to drop in on another group I am a member of and dabble in a few ideas.

So, DevArt Project Runway lists all of the past challenges from the 9 Seasons of the show. I have a few other pieces in my gallery done a long time ago based on challenges on PR but this time I'm really focusing on them by doing 3 piece mini collections for each season. Why 3? Well, not all of the challenges translate well to my drawings (i.e.: making clothing out of pet store items).

This is Season 3's mini collection.

Episode 7: Everyday Woman - "create outfit for an "everyday woman" which for the show they were assigned one of the designers' mothers or sisters. So I thought of my mom. What would she wear? What would she like? Well, like me my mom doesn't like to wear sleeveless shirts or shirts that are too constricting around the neck. She is also a breast cancer survivor and had both removed this past year. I had to take that into consideration as to the shape of the shirt. I wanted something feminine but I wanted to emphasize the neckline more then the bust. (I also adjusted the base model removing the bust.)
Episode 10: Black & White - "create a cocktail dress using only black and white fabrics". Pretty self explanatory. I kept with my appreciation of vintage cuts and decided on updating it with the print. I added the bright yellow shows for that pop of color.
Episode 1: Wall to Wall Fashion - "create an outfit using only materials found in their apartments." Well, seeing as I was not an actual contestant and it's a pain in the ass to find pictures of the suites they stayed in in Season 3, I decided to pick three 'fabrics' out of my living room. The choker is a ribbon and medallion that goes around my lamp shades. The main dress would be made by layering my sheer curtains and valances. The waist sash is the fabric from my ottoman. I kept them all the original colors of the actual fabrics.
