Ah, okay.Β I guess that could work.Β For ye olde time comic fans, Gertie was intended as a take off on the old Fantastic Four villain, Paste Pot Pete and his "paste gun".Β He sadly had more potential when he became The Trapster butΒ that never seemed to develop.

Gluesome Gertie is anΒ oc;Β I was trying to fill out the required pages for that edition of Giggler, and as usually happens, the name struck me first:Β effectively a play on the name Gruesome Gerty.Β And in the back of my mind was doing something sticky or webby for the restraint theme, and I remembered The Trapster from early FF comics (of course I first remember him as Paste Pot Pete; its m'age y'know..)
Β Β Β Then in a bid to make the character look radically different, I opted to shoot for a punk look with maybe a dash of Goth.Β Don't think I succeeded with that aspect, but did with having her Β look like none of the other Lynx villains.
