Thank you! I use a number of tools. At work, I use a Cintiq 22HD, which is my all-around favorite. At home, though, I use a Yiynova MVP22U, which is just as effective at a fraction of the price. There are a few things that make the Cintiq slightly better (pen tilt sensitivity, no time spent waiting to let the monitor warm up, etc.), but if money's an issue, it's an equally viable solution. Before working on these, I used a Wacom Intuos 4, which is a highly effective tablet. I'm only assuming they have newer models now, but at the time, it was just as effective (if not more so) than the Cintiq for painting. The Cintiq has the advantage of drawing directly on the canvas, rather than relying on hand-eye coordination, but at the same time, with an Intuos style tablet your hand isn't in the way, and there may be some sensitivities the Cintiq just doesn't have down quite as effectively.
