Ematen, after Bilatzen divides his being.This is him near the middle of the story. He gets worse towards the end, so much worse I kind of don't want to draw it
I suddenly realized I'd never shown how Ematen looks uncovered. That having been said, he is probably one of the only characters (if not THE only character) I've always drawn with clothes on.
And no, this isn't grayscale. He's just white as white as white can be. And he'll appreciate anything you have to say constructively about his appearance. ♥
Credit to for his awesome brush set, which I used to make the background texture. It's hard to create a setting for Ematen. He's an entity, so he doesn't actually have true surroundings...? bah.

What an interesting concept. This is well drawn and very powerful with the darker areas highlighting where the form is coming apart. it is emotional yet beautiful and he looks very nice.

Haha, it's very complicated. I guess I can give you the bare essentials though. Ematen here and his brother/lover Bilatzen are gods, and Ematen carries the power to create. He makes another world, and Bilatzen grows jealous when Ematen becomes preoccupied with it for years. In a fit of jealousy and anger, he lashes out at Ematen and disappears into the world with the intention of corrupting/destroying it. My character Blaise is entrusted (or rather, forced) into the job of capturing Bilatzen and returning him to Ematen, so that Ematen can be restored. Since Ematen is the maker of that world, if he falls apart completely, so will their reality. There's a whole lot more to it than that, but I suppose that's the gist.

Haha, well, you'll see if it gets published. I have hundreds of pages written (in separate novels of the series... I go on tangents) but nothing absolutely completed.
