Though I think there's too much detail in your collar, focus can be tricky for self portraits, but I think if you want the fuzzy face look I'd maybe maybe not take the focus to the other side of the fence, so that the face is more than the collar, that, or you could just focus on the face, or use a cooler shirt

I like the darkness of the piece and the nice highlights on the shirt. A bit different than the usual portrait, which imo is a good thing.
