Not good looking at high-res, as the smudge/liquify/whatever work is easily visible. Pretty not bad for what it is, though. You're becoming nice with the colors.

Haha, i dig the colours in this one man. The forms are so cohesive + organic, it's evolved a lot since i saw it the first time. Tight work indeedy, your work is improving immensely.

but that aside back to the piece... it has a very smooth feel to it as said b4... very rare, imo neways. but it almost has a metallic type sense just cos of the light and dark and colour use... or is that just me but sick job all the same man... keep up the nice work

I don't see any blurring, this peice looks fucking sharp. I really like how you dropped out all the usual trend/tech detail that can kind of get annoying and left this in raw, [link] RKT form. That's somethign you don't do often enough... sometimes, you're glossy and glassy 3D abs make your peices much more beautiful and definitely more respectable then if you slap together some 3D with alot of trend.
It might not seem like much work to you, but as designers of what we make (that sounds stupid...) we see all that goes into and the illusion of being supreme goes away. But you're surpeme as it gets and this, I would hope, makes your girlfriend very happy...

I think that you accomplished the soft look you were aiming for, but it lacks a sense composition. Maybe try fading the end of that purplish curve on the top into the black.. Nice job though

people give me a hard time no matter WHAT i produce. why should this piece be any different?
Im not trying to be an asshole when I say this, but if people dont like a piece, theyre not just out to get you, maybe they actually dont like the piece. Hell, I get tons of negative comments about parts of a piece that I thought were perfect.
I agree with you that saying its "blurry" makes no sense, as this is a crisp piece, but I think theyre probably mistaking the "smudginess" (I hope you understand what I mean by that .. ) with blurriness, which is probably just the result of not really looking at the piece.
At first, I really didnt like this piece..I originally thought to myself that the smudginess of the focal point was really taking away from the piece, and I did not like the colors, and more specifically how you mixed them at the center.
But..as I stared at it for a bit, I realized the abstract, semi-orgranic forms of this piece were wonderful, as was the "smooth" style of it, and the only thing it lacks is a really strong composition. The center, which automatically seems to become the focal point, since their really isnt a very strong and obvious one, is wonderful and organic, and is definitely the highlight of this piece. So overall, the positives outweigh the negatives of this piece, and I love it .
