I saw your Melkor and I can not resist, I want to write my impressions about it. It is beautiful and when I read that it is a fan fiction illustration I would not have said. Your drawing is very canonical, there is something disturbing, but the features of his face are plausible with what was described by Tolkien. But we come to the point; I was very impressed by the interpretation and your explanation of the psychological involvement perspective. It is very difficult to work with detachment from what is one's thoughts on things. You are able to do so. Melkor is the protagonist of the Silmarillion, my favorite character and I, however, I can not work on him with the necessary detachment. Not admiration but, more likely, compassion and understanding; the result of these my feelings is a "softened" representation, perhaps, much as I would like him to be rather than as him "should" be. Anyway, congratulations, I think your Melkor has already made inroads into the hearts of many fans !! Great work!

About my rendition of Melkor, -it was truly hard work for me, to try seeng his face and draw him with detachement, without hate, fear or admiration. But when I tryed to understand him and his reasons it was hard to not tune into the beat of compassion or admiration. I'm happy if you think that this challenge is successful!^^
And in this work only part was inspired by fanfic, -his crown, I found wery impressional description of creation this crown.

У него очень шерстяной, прекрасно фактурный плащ! А еще на предыдущей иллюстрации, где двое и сосульки, у вас был совершенно прекрасный мокрый замерзший мех, очень натуральный. Замечательно!
