The best rendering of the noble Huan I have seen, and one of the best portrayals of the otherworldly Lùthien, as well: but the two together, so true to their literary characters, really is breathtaking.
This has to be one of my favourite pieces of Tolkien art, in over four decades of enjoying the work of many talented artists in the field. Many congratulations to you.

All of your artwork is stunning, but admittedly I enjoy your Silmarillion art the most. This is my absolute favorite; I would love a print of this to hang in my home. The tenderness between Lúthien and Huan, and his noble, sweet face are just brilliant.

This is great! So often I seen Huan portrayed as a wolf, which doesn't make sense to me. I think it's appropriate that he's a wolfhound, loyal, fierce, and devoted to the hunt, rather than a wolf (I don't think wolf/wolf battles are thematically appropriate for Huan's fights--he's representative of one side of the struggle which is distinctly different from the side he's fighting).

That is the best Huan I have seen yet (and I love him, so I've seen a few!) and closest to my personal image of him while reading the story. Beautifully done!

Thank you for using something outside of a wolf for Huan. Almost every time I see a picture people use a wolf and I'm like he's a hound...not a wolf...different concept due to breeding. So I love it. Definitely one of the better interpretations of the great hound.
