I have a hard time being all sour-grapesy around the turn of a year. It makes me so... wistful. 2009 wasn't necessarily the year I envisioned going into it, but a good year nonetheless. Made some new friends, reconnected with old ones, met some people I'd like to be better acquainted with, etc. So I thought I'd start the year off with some aggressively cute diabetes fuel of my friends/acquaintances and/or their characters!Cheers, everyone, and have a great year!
Tomorrow, this will be COLORFUL!

Really? To me '09 wasn't all that great, nor was it all that bad; I think that it was just the year where everyone suffered from at least 1 major art block. So, here's hoping 2010's going to turn out way better!

Dude, these are SO fantastic, l can't even begin. Do l see a little blur overlay (that is a thing l also love to do)? l don't know all these characters, but you've rendered them in such a way that l'm off checking out a few new people to see who l can discover.
lzzy of course looks TOTALLY ROCKlNG and l love it...l've sorta half wondered in the pasthow such a lanky lady would translate into a chibi kinda form...and it worked UNCANNlLY well! l think.

Ren and Nickel are so cute I think they're going to make my teeth fall out (but not from punches, as they are very short), and Izzy and Mona are the cutest zombie-killers ever, and I HAVE A CAN OF WASSAIL, TEE-HEE-HEE.
And a FILTHY, DISGUSTING (but totally super-cute) anteater! Fffgh, I would totally hug an anteater if they were really that cute. ;_;
This time of year can get lots of folks down -- I definitely remember having more rum in my house before Christmas -- but on the bright side, 2010 is starting with a weekend! Show the year of the tiger who's boss! >8D HI-YAH.
