But in return I get to be a wise-ass, ok? So here goes: you need to buy a scanner. Seriously. The photo looks so dark and smudgy that you have to look at it for a while to see how good it actually looks. The trouble with this? People don't spend time looking at dark and smudgy things to find out if they might be good. Dark and smudgy = bad. Opinion already formed, bye, bye. You wanna know why this has more +fav than yours without being remarkably better? I'l tell you! People don't bother clicking on a thumbnail that looks like that. At least adjust the lighting digitally, but really, even for that your art is too good. And I tell you, I took a look at your other stuff and the way you draw your lines tells me your probably one of those people that are AWESOME AS DUCK in half the time I needed to get 'somewhat ok 
Really, get a scanner. I wanna see those pictures in crisp clear quality. They're good. :]

(: i need a BIGGER scanner for mine, is what went wrong, so i ended up settling for less. derp. but all in all, i am very wary of your criticism and am glad you're willing to nudge a work a little further. I bet everyone else you know can call you kickass friend, cuhs i certainly would. thanks !
