I noticed most fanart of Griffin make him out to look more like his Dad, Shade. I haven't read firewing in ages, so feel free to tell if that was the case in the book. hehe
But at the same time, it's fun to mess around in the gene pool. So I figures, i'd make him look more his Mom, Marina. And while we're at it, make him as "mixed" as possible. lol x)

Everybody seems to imagine him looking like Shade but with Marina's wing colours but I imagine him having mostly Marina's looks and fur colours but Shade's wings and personality.

My point exactly, though since I'm sort of deviating away from the source material, I decided to give him more of Marina's personality. I aslo wanted to move away from how everyone else interpreted Griffin.
