I was not gonna watch this series, you can see the forced inclusion a mile away, however it's an original product, they are not changing existing characters to make it "diverse", and this is a good point to me. I Finally ended up seeing it, more than anything because I had nothing else to do. I liked the interaction between the 3 protagonists, it reminds me a lot Pepper Ann and his friends. after the end of the series I liked everything that happens in the real world more than what happens in the endless island, so much that I would have liked it better if it were a slice of life like the aftermentioned Pepper Ann, or Doug. The Butt Witch was by far my favorite character, she takes the scene every time he appears with his charisma and humor, although that of winning him in the end with "the power of friendship" is something very seen inn other series, at least they did it in such a way that he felt something fresh with things like that "Pretty has a lot of repressed anger" dialogue referring to the yellow bunny when he is slapping Butt Witch xD. Well, mysteries have been planted for possible future seasons... Theories, I have read and developed many. Since Reggie is gay or already trans (I doubt this last, although the first, who knows? I think it is possible... I think the series is located in the mid-90s, because the technology and fashion, or that Endless island is a kind of another dimension created by the collective unconscious, etc., for me at least, Twelve Forever has been a pleasant surprise, I did not expect anything from it and in the end has left me with a good taste and looking forward to seeing a future 2nd season that I hope will arrive, endearing characters, development of their personalities... Something lazy begins, but it gets well with the pass of the episodes.
