With so many popular games, it's easy to see why many people gravitate towreds successful games and create community's to engage it what is suppose to be discussing ideas for futcher games and what changes they'll bring. At lest that is when there not screaming profanity's into there microphones. This is what I feel are the worst gaming community's I have seen, also, I will be covering games I've never played before just this once otherwise I wouldn't have enough content for this list.

10: Dark souls. My brother has expressed interest in this series because of how notoriously hard it's suppose to be. The guy likes a challenge what can I say? I should probably let him know not expect to much online help. A lot of seasoned dark souls players need to know what there doing to process in these games as that's the only way to progress. Sadly they also tend to develop an ego problem because of all the crazy stuff they've pulled off and the most common advice is "Get good." Okay dark souls pro, your about as useful as a stone parachute.

9: Team fortress 2. For the most part this community is alright. I've seen a lot of creative ideas for weapons and maps on the steam workshop and there are a lot of servers that let you try out the community creations but if your a free to play...god help you. Most 'free to plays' who install the game are new players who don't have any fancy hats. And since your throw into it only after a short tutorial it'll be clear your new to the game. However since every team mate is important people will soon start chastising you for dragging the team down when you start losing. I know your new to the game but you just cost your entire team the satisfaction of victory in a conga themed hat trading simulation full of funny over the top characters. It's not as bad when you figure out how each class works and can play the game competently but this game seems to have quit a few AFKs. Just cues.

8: Sonic the hedgehog. Now this community is considered one of the worst by many people because of the different shift in 2D and 3D games, the fan art and the insane shipping wars. I could honestly care less about the games perspective as I completely suck at them and therefor don't own a lot of them and there's vore, gay pairing art all over the place but the shipping wars...can get a little out of hand. I'm sure you all know that Tailsmo is my OTP Sonic paring but I understand that some people will prefer Tailream or Tailrina (Is that how you pronounce the Tails X Marina shipping) and may even utterly despise Tailsmo. Hey, I'm okay with that. What I'm not okay with is people who say people who scream that people who support a cirten shipping deserve to die of cancer and burn in the 5th circle of hell. It seems like everyone aside from a select sane few can't except opines are a real thing that can't be changed and are flipping there shit someone had the audacity to think differently then them. All over anthropomorphic animals with superpowers. This is the second resone I prefer Mario over Sonic. Less volatile fanbasses are always welcoming.

7: Dayz If there's one thing you can take away from the last of us, its that you can at least predict what the zombies are going to be like...its the normal people you have to watch out for. Dayz is an open world zombie survival game were you have to start from scratch if you die. This encourages you to be careful not take unessicary risks. You can hunt for food and fight off zombies easily enough, but the other players are what you need to be scared of. 90% of the survivors are bandits who will blast your head off the instant they see you and take your stuff while you sigh in frustration. You can't blame all of them as they probably got filled with lead the last time they asked other players for help and don't want to risk making the same mistake but what if your just starting out for the first time? Surly because you don't have anything of value and don't pose a threat to the hevley armed players they might ignore you right? Well turns out some players are complete assholes who will kill anyone they meet for shits and giggles. If this is what most of mankind is like during the real zombie apocalypse, maybe we do deserve to be zombie snacks.

6: Super smash bros. You'd think that with such dedicated fan games like project M, super smash flash and crusaders the smash community would seem like a nice bunch...you'd be wrong. While this is one of my favorite series the fanbase is composed mainly of try hards who insist every smash game needs to be like melee. Smash bros brawl for example had more sluggish character movement save for meta knight and many fans complete disowned it for that resone. A lodicule person would say this was intentional because if you were new to the series at that point, you'd want someone easier to control but the fanbases on this list don't operate on logic. Never mind this is the game that let you play as Sonic for the first time as well as Snake, the introduction of final smashes or the subspace emissary, it wasn't like melee there for it was inferior. Most tournament plays restrict what stages you can play and don't allow items. In fact the stock fox, no items final destination thing is meant to poke fun at the way to serious community. Can't we just enjoy the novelty of Nintendo's mascots beating the tar out of each outer?

5: Overwatch Overwatch is one of the best games in recent memories but it's community...can't say the same thing. Think of the team fortress 2 community but worse, since like TF2 this a class based FPS. A lot of players like to main cirten characters and ignore what kind of hero your team needs, this combined with characters who can griff your team and you'll probably want to chuck your mick out the window. It's not uncommen for teammates to throw a game simply because some picked the hero they wanted to play as. They also may use the voice chat to hurl abuse at other players and a lot of players like to abuse cheap tactics to get the upper hand, even going as far as to hack the game. There's actually a funny story about hacker threatening to sue Blizzard because the company is actively attempting to keep hackers from cracking there game, but since hacking in an online game to gain an advantage is illegal and scummy, it didn't exactly work out for them.

4: GTA 5 online. I suppose if your game is based around being a criminal who gets kicks out of randomly running down pedestrians, the fan base isn't going to be full of nice people. Even so, there's an unsettling amount of people who take this virtual thug life a little to seriously. Online players start developing a real gang mindset and are constantly shit talking and killing there enemies even when there not engaged in a player vs player mode. In fact it's gotten to the point were rock star games made a "peaceful" online mode were other players were essentially ghosts and can't hurt each other. While this was a nice idea it didn't erase any hostility. Players realized they could trap other players in shops by parking there car in front of the door to keep it from opening and they did just that. They would place there car in front of a store's doors and honk there horns almost triumphantly while there understandably annoyed victim would take a cyanide pill to simply respawn out side of the store.

3: Minecraft. Even though the game promotes you to create whatever your mind comes up with, a good portion of players are dedicated to blowing up your house with TNT while you watch, asking yourself were you went wrong. In fact this is the game that invented to term griffing. The act of intentionally antagonizing other players for the fun of it. They come in the shape of trolls and hackers. Trolls typically set elaborate traps to kill you or even worse trap you. And when they kill you, they almost never do it to get the gear you drop when you die like in Dayz. No they just kill you for the fun. Hackers are even worse as they claim how everyone is inferior to them even though there just using hacks to give themselves unfair advantages. Not cool guys.

2: Dota 2: Dota 2 is a strategy game that revolves around sending out unites to gather resources, make your base bigger and better and defeat the enemy team though the use of each units special skills. At least that's what I think it's about I haven't played it because the community toxic enough to poison an irradiated landscape. Granted I bet sometimes you have to work for that victory and having all your hard strategic work go to waste because you lost can't feel too good but this is still just a video game. No matter how good you may be people will rage about your lame skills even if there just sitting there doing nothing or not doing very well themselves. Also they have a sever hatred for new inexperienced players and in essence tell them to stop playing the game because of how terrible they are. I don't think I'll be joining this fanbase any time soon.

This fanbase is nitrous for having 5 year olds screaming about how they banged your mom, people who say they are the worst game ever yet they still play them, and the most prolific launging, (some of witch is you should kill yourself.) under the sun. And that's just during a "good" match. Older players are just as loud and abusive as the younger ones. A lot of people get set off by the tiniest things. (I saw a video were one player asked another player what was so funny about using a shotgun and the player receiving this question up and said he was booting the guy who asked this question.) People on your team may just flash bang you repididly to see how you react and people yell there going to kill each other in real life. The worst part is the hackers in this series. There a bunch of shit talking assholes who threaten to permanently ban your account, find out were you live and send someone over to deal with you, hell, one video featcherd a hacker who boosted about how he forced suicide...twice. Most of the time there just trying to act tough online even though there not above cheating but people will actually try to swat you if you try to stand up for yourself or someone else online. (If you don't know what swatting is, it's when someone gives the police a false tip off that requires the SWAT team, like saying so and so has a bomb he's going to use to blow up a school.) All over a simple FPS game.
