A Painting I've been working on I think somewhere at the beginning of last year, I wasnt really happy with it so i never uploaded it , I dont really have time to work on personal stuff lately so I thought I'd upload it nevertheless just to be able to upload anything.I'm really hoping to improve my painting skills and start to paint backgrounds as well, I still have a long way to go !
I tried to create the effect black fur sometimes get when sunlight shines on it and makes it look more brownish cx

I can see the affect you were going for! Though around her left ear the highlights look like they are weaker unless that was intended. I really like how her eyes just piece through the screen here. The affects you added helped to bring them out perfectly, she has one beautiful stare. I've always loved this character and it's so nice to see her again.
Also really great that you're working more on sharpening your skills in realistic paintings! Keep it up, this suites your style in a way I can't describe
