Description Hi again~~
Yeah this is Gale and Madge, post-Mockingjay, as I imagined them. OK I KNOW, THIS IS IFFFFF SHE DID NOT DIE.

(Ahem, like I said I have theories. So in my mind she is alive. So there.)

Anyway... I used Mia Wasikowska as reference for Madge, and Garrett Hedlund as reference for Gale.

I wanted them to look older here, and kind of "empty" and "expressionless" because you know, the war changed their lives, they've seen so much, etc.

Madge, I pictured her with her hair cut off, bags under her eyes, thin, no longer the innocent ojou-san (ha) from before. ('Cause I agree with canon that her parents did die... at least. lol And her life would be pretty rough now that she has to survive on her own.)

Gale, he got a haircut cuz now he has a nice job that pays well, and he doesn't look so skinny as before, but he still has that stoic look, esp. bitter look now that he's pretty much lost Katniss and he's probably wallowing in a lot of angst. And yeah I know he looks really old here. Hopefully not THAT old (supposed to be in mid-20's or something).

Just the other day I found a fanfic pairing Madge&Gale (Best.couple.ever.) and in it's sequel Madge has her hair short like in your draw because things in her life. I'll leave you the link here (maybe you already know this fanfic) so you can go check or check de sequel or something: [link]

yeah!! she's great! if you know more Gale x Madge fics, tell me! I'm also reading one called "the lucky ones" and I know this author Medea Smyke who writes them a lot. Know any other great ones?

Yay! I've read some of Medea Smyke's fics and she's quite good at it -I'm also reading "the lucky ones". Medea Smyke's friend Geeky-DMHG-Fan has a fic called "Peeta Mellark Ruined My Life" that's quite hilarious and good, all related in Gale's POV -that author has two of the cutest Finnick & Annie fics, if you like that pairing maybe you'd want to read them
I'm also reading "You're happening to me" that's quite AU and a little OOC but it's okay! "Looks like Prim" and it's sequel are okay, too
I almost fell in love with a one-shot called "Need" author: Flyza ([link] ) it's in Katniss' POV -it represents that Peeta is dead, so she ended with Gale... But Gale is in love with Madge, and so she found something interesting. Quite well written

It's nice to see some Madge-is-not-dead supporters I would have loved her to stay alive. And be with Gale, they would have made a good couple somehow ^^

Anyway this drawing is amazing! It looks very realistic and somehow.. true.

There are surprisingly more Gale and Madge shippers than I thought!!! hahaha. I'm very pleased. Seriously, there was NO hint of them together-together in the books except for the part where Madge gave him that drug after the whipping... and the beginning of Hunger Games when he was like glaring at her and stuff... aha! i know! I just really liked the idea of them. xD

On one hand that was what I hated so much about the ending of MJ - that there was so much unexplained but on the other hand it's great because you can all fill up the gaps yourself ^^

Actually I think in HP everything was solved in the end... I was a little surprised about the abrupt ending immediately after Voldi's death (not counting the epilouge) but otherwise.. I mean it's sure not easy to find space for everything in such a huge story

yeah true, but that's for fanfiction's for. filling up spaces. check HP fanfiction out if you haven't already. IT'S A GREAT EXPERIENCE I feel like i'm promoting a type of drink lol. But yeah, you get all these lingering questions answered. Next Generation? All there Why did George marry Angelina? etc.

I have to admit I've been a little lazy with reading all that so far. At the moment I'm just making my way through all the stories on fanfiction.net for I could really need some new inspiration. Mostly I prefer the Mauraders era. There are so many things I would have liked to know about that time..
Do you know any good fics of the Marauders or Lily and James?

ooooh ummmmm.... as of right now? no. sorryyy!! but, how about you gimme an idea? xD cuz I only draw something when I'm suddenly struck with inspiration/passion.
