Any idea why my xp says the icon folder has no icons in it? I know they are there but it just keeps throwing that error out and wont let me change and extra icons.. I can change the basic like trash bin, folders and such but no special ones like ventrilo or WoW. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Having an issue with the media player skin.
Im running on win7 with windows media player 12. I have absolutely NO idea how to use the skin with it.
all the normal skins are in the format of .wmz, while the skin provided in this pack is a simple folder with files.
I even went as far as to copy the folder to my skins folder in the windows media player folder (yes, i said folder three times, sorry) - no luck. The player cant see it.
Any helpful suggestions?

In that case, the "media player skins" words on the picture of this deviation are somewhat misleading.
Dont get me wrong, im still grateful for all the icons etc, just wish i knew the MP skins were not WMP skins

Blegh, apparently my Windows XP doesn't know that an icon file is supposed to be used for icons...
Here's what I do. I right click the shortcut for the program that I want to change the icon for. I click properties. I click "Change icon..." I click Browse. I navigate to the file that contains all the icons. I open the ICO folder and click the icon meant for that shortcut. Error message pops up saying "The file C:\BLAHBLAHBLAH\iconname.ico contains no icons," like its trying to open the icon as a folder to find icons...
This is the first time my computer has completely lost me. Please halp.

Do yourself a favour and upgrade to Win 7. xD

Try opening them in GIMP (it's a free download) and resaving them as .PNGs - some systems prefer those for icons.

Except it came with .PNG versions too, and it did the same thing with them.

A little more advice for the game here that wasn't covered by here that i managed to grab
pressing SHIFT while moving forward starts the sprinting animation (wow, I think i just discovered that because of experience with First person Shooters 
And that's all I discovered for now.

I found that out in a matter of 5 min with the demo LOL
So I really didn't git to explore too much, but it is hilarious to spawn a ton of one character and walk around with yer own personal army. 
I just hope that some of ya got to experience the game a bit with the info I posted, I just cant figure out why I turn left or right while flying. *shrugs*

The flying controls are made for doing rolls, and pitching up or down in those positions, much like how fighter-planes in some shooter games like Battlefield behave most of the time. XD That must have been how i got it working..

I love this, but I have a couple problems I would really like fixed:
1) The icons and the ico files become compressed and grainy once I apply them.
2)The screensaver only works when I click "preview". I think it might be with the instantstorm program it uses, but I'm not entirely sure.
It would be great if anyone could help me out. Even just a bit!

Icons compressed and pixely? Make some yourself using the .png's! (In your desired size, no less!)
[link] -- Paint.NET - Think of it as a better version of Paint.
[link] -- A plugin for Paint.NET that allows you to edit and save .ICO files!
All you have to do is get those two things, then open up the .PNG's with Paint.NET. Then, you save them as .ICO's in your desired size! [It will prompt you about what size you want to save it with.]
Also, for the start menu/bar, I recommend 32x32.

The icon files can't be helped. That's Windows issue, not mine. It displays custom icons pretty badly. Mac users should be a-ok.
Screensaver doesn't have that problem with me.. Try running the .exe?

This is freaking awesome, but with the cursors I can't use more than one, so I can have the usual pointer, but not the rest of them. Anyways, it's amazing.

uhh Thanked too soon. I can't unzip for my "trial" of winzip has completed, so I can only view archives. 7Zip gives me errors and will not complete the extraction. zip format pls?

Yeah. I see that now. Fricken OPERA is having issues rendering DA, I had to do a reinstall. I do apologize, but zipx has been around since 09 and no other zipping tool wants to support it. ANYWAY getting away from that. I even tried to install python on my system. I did what I could short of installing blender. Blender don't play nice with my tri-core cpu. >.< I am going to research more later. Although I have no idea what I am looking for or how to troubleshoot. BUT that is the fun of computers. I can at least get the 32 bit mode to load, 64 refuses to do anything. I keep getting errors extracting some of the zips, but they work fine ( using windows zip tool ) &zip unzipped them fine, but games, Icons and the wallpapers too an awfully long time to release 7zip. If you wait long enough it will release 7zip and allow you to close the app.

sorry to keep spamming. LOL If anyone gets the game world to load up. IT will come up in a windows with just an image of the game world, grass a building or two. DO NOT HIT THE KEYS V B N M this will FC the game. Otherwise hit one of the number keys 1-6, that will bring up a sprite of one of the mane six. Then you can use asdw to move, and the arrow keys will control the camera, for the pegs f will make them fly, so far there is no jump and or magic implementation as far as I can tell. - = will zoom the camera in or out. 9 or 0 will summon and AI applejack that will just randomly do stuff. SO far thats all I got, still nothing for the 64 bit version, but the 32bit will work on the 64 bit machines no problem from what I gathered so far. NOW, ima stop spamming this poor DA page and git in da showerz. It's kinda a cute game, the avatars are low rez but still adorable to look at, walking backwards animation is broken though LOL. If I remember correctly, a young kid coded this all by themself, so brohoof to the coder ( if I am right, if not sorry coder )

Yeah. I have to commend them fer the work. Not many could produce anything of that calibur at that age solo. I would love to see what comes of this in the future. Rez aside, the avatars are really adorable. LOL

I downloaded the Rainmeter Themes from the separate parts link(which is only 79 bytes), and when I extract the ZIP - using WinRAR - I only get an empty folder. Anybody else get this?
