This turned out amazing... WELL DONE! The elderly lion looks perfect in every way, and I'm very happy to see a simple but well done background by you ^^ (so sad when people just slap down Disney backgrounds...)

and yeah you never get any better unless you practice the things you find difficult and for me it is backgrounds, plus it's still copying and using someone elses work so I don't like doing it either

Yeah! Same like me. I also find backgrounds very difficult for some reason... probably because I overdetail and spend too much time x) 
BUT! Practice makes perfect indeed, and it's really worth it

Aww poor Mohatu. I like your design of his old self though and that you pretty much stuck with what was in the book. I like how the version of how he looks in the book the best.
