I finally entered snowman in a show! Oh yeh! To be honest I don't think I've ever put so many little things in a XC entry xD

For the NEH and BWV Opening Event
Event: XC
Starting number: 64 (displayed on vest and bridle for clarity)
Horse: MWS Sunset Moon (barn name: Snowman)
Rider: Olly Waters

Olly had been having a quiet few months. It was one of the rare occasions where he got to go off to a show himself, usually he'd be the one looking after the barn while Elly and Skye were off competing. Though really he didn't mind, all the girls would do on the journey is gossip anyway.
He was glad that out of the horses he was working it was snowman's chance to get out to a show as he was the only horse that was capable to show, that hadn't. He loved the power and massive strides of the stallion, even though he could be strong. He knew his job and did it well.
The show day's weather was something to be desired. By the time it was their turn on the course the sky had clouded over and the heavens opened, meaning the pair were soaked before even getting over the first obstacle. Olly was thankful they hadn't chosen the bigger course this time as the pair could concentrate on getting around it without having to launch at each fence so they stayed as safe as the ground began to engulf them with each step. The wind also wasn't helping matters. It was blowing in their faces and was starting to unsettle the decorations wrapped around the jumps, which was un-nerving for even the most bomb-proof of horses, which Snowman was not. It took a little enticing at the jumps where the ribbons were fluttering over them but thankfully they got around safe, even if they were a little muddy, cold and wet.
