Art for my Shadowrun fanfic, "To Feel a Dragon's Heart", which you can find over at my ao3: [link]I... dolled again? I started this last month and worked on it on and off. I wanted to see what I could do after not dolling for so long. I think it’s a success. Hairrr. <3 That said, I have no intention to keep dolling regularly, but it was a fun diversion.
This is meant to be a stylistic representation of Ella and Lofwyr’s blood/life pact, which --I’m still working on writing-- is all finished. :3

I'm a bit unsure about what that's supposed to be coming out underneath that cape, though. Is it her stomach? I'd suggest simply removing it, having everything below the yellow edge of her cape be that dark blue with the transparent light blue fabric. Or else make it be almost as wide as the width between her arms, and make it go down to the edge of the picture. You would also have to re-shade it I think.
One thing that could be cool would be to have his left arm and hand (the one which isn't visible now) come across her stomach, sort of holding her close. If that would fit with the character?

Haha yes, that is indeed her stomach. The base had cartoonish proportions and I decided to roll with it, but it would definitely make more sense to widen and lengthen it - cutting her torso off exactly where the base ends doesn't /quite/ work when there's fabric trailing behind her, but alas I am lazy! It probably wouldn't be too hard to adjust, though, so I think I'll have another go at it later.
That would be both cool and in-character, but then I would have to draw it myself. ; p That's more than just laziness though - I've never gotten the hang of making my own bases as my figure drawing is lacking [but something I'm hoping to improve this year], so I think that's best left alone haha.

I totally understand about not drawing bases, I don't feel secure about it either - but editing bases like this can be a good starting point. You can always come back and add the hand later when/if you feel more secure about it

All right, I fixed it~ I like this better, so thank you for bringing it up. :3 My partner when he saw it pre-fix also commented on how ridiculously tiny her waist was, so between the two of you I had to do something about it. XD I also made her clothes more obviously white while I was at it.
