I decided to try a piece based on feelings from music, so here is some of the playlist that inspired this:
The Garden by Mirah
Paradise Circus by Massive Attack
Shake it Out by Florence and the Machine
Seven Devils (also Florence)
Marvelous Things by Eisley
Vai Vedrai from Cirque du Soleil
Marco Polo by Loreena McKennitt
Tango de Roxanne from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack

This was one of those "what if" paintings that starts out as "hey, let's draw an elephant and then goes "what if it was in a parade..." "what if the parade was in the Victorian era..." "what if it had a monocle...." an so on. Kind of like this.... [link]
Anyways, enjoy and feel free to comment! Yes there's a bunch of steampunk influence in here....I wasn't thinking of Mardi Gras until I realized that this is reminiscent of it, and my friend also said Aladdin...annnd yes, commissions are OPEN! I am actually about to update my prices.
