Happy Birthday Hina chan!I tried to get this in before her bday
ended but... I didn't.
Anyway, I would never ever in my lifetime
forget her birthday. I love her to bits and pieces
and and... I'm rambling.
So... yeah. I hope you guys like my gift for her bday.
On a side note, I thought it would fit to have an OOC

I'm not a big fan of Sasuke in general, and for the usual reasons you'd probably think; he's super emo, he's an a-hole a lot of the time, and he's a backstabbing traitor that turned on his home and his friends, even attempting to kill the person he considered his best friend, in exchange for power. Definitely not the kind of person you'd 'look up to' or want someone like Hinata around.
That being said, I actually have no problems with the SasuHina shipping. In fact, I imagine that Sasuke would have turned into a far better person if he and Hinata had crossed paths socially in the beginning of the series. The two have a great deal in common, if on the negative side: Both of them are seen as disappointments by their fathers; Sasuke could never measure up to Itachi and Hinata is nowhere near as skilled in the Hyuuga styles as Neji in the early on. Neither of them really even fit in with their clans; Sasuke doesn't start acting like an elitist until after the Uchiha Massacre and Hinata is very kindhearted and warm, the opposite of all the Hyuuga we see. They also spend most of their time alone; Sasuke because he secludes himself and Hinata because she's shy and wants to fade off into the background. And while neither of them get what they seek in the early years, Hinata - Naruto's affection and Sasuke - take down Itachi, the reason they pursue these goals is basically the same; to gain acknowledgement and some kind of self-worth; something Hinata quite clearly doesn't get among the Hyuuga and Sasuke believes he needs to earn by taking Itachi down and avenging his lost family.
These two meeting early on, I can see Hinata coming across Sasuke and trying to get him to open up, sympathizing with how alone he is, only to snap at him when he pushes her away, not thinking she can understand, only to learn she does. The next time they cross paths, Sasuke swallows his pride, apologizes, and asks if they can go somewhere to talk. From here, their meetings become more frequent, slowly developing into a friendship, then something more, with Sasuke becoming kinder, at least less abrasive, and finding he does have self-worth, if just in Hinata's eyes for now, while Hinata finds someone who accepts her for who she is, too kindhearted and all, yet still encourages and gives her a reason to become a kunoichi, if doing so in her own way.
