These guys are familiar to everyone, for sure. Firebug, aka Pyrrhocoris apterus (described and classified by C. Linnaeus in 1758).
Wingless and harmless insects, very recognizable and noticeable.
Friends of my preschool childhood: how many of them I sent to be eaten by ants from an anthill in the city square, where we often walked! I even remember their smell, when you grab them in hands.
I've met them recently in the park along with their nymphs.
