Description The Perfect Oils. 24 Mixer Brush Presets for Photoshop CS5+

Since 2011, I started creating these Mixer brush presets, working on various art
and trying to reach the impression and feeling of oil paints, which I so love.
Moreover, I wanted digital painting to be more diverse technically and visually.
This Tool Set includes my 6-year digital oils practice based on my experience
of working with real oil paints.

So far they are working fantastic, although, I still have some learning to do to actually use them correctly haha . I'm using them on the piece I'm working on right now, I'll share it with you once I'm done and hopefully you will like it!

do you use them for the complete painting process or do you use a normal brush to lay down the flats, or? And which one would you suggest for a softer feel?

Hi! I use both of these two ways, depending on my mood and current task. These brushes are fine for initial sketching, but firstly I'd advice to create a new layer and switch off the option "Sample all layers" on the "Options" palette (top of the Photoshop window). It allows mixer brush not to use background color, it will mix only colors on current (new) layer: feels like you paint oils or acrylics on the primed canvas.

BTW, I'm going to create some videos. The links will be here.

>And which one would you suggest for a softer feel?
Try for example 007 Round Brush from presets. You can decrease Flow to 50-60%, it allows to affect exist colors more softly.

Feel free to ask if you'll have any questions.
