Hey. This is my first ever theme for windows 7. I couldn't find a good looking windows 8 theme so I made my own using GIMP and restorator.

**NOTE** Both the theme and explorerframe.dll work in Windows 7 64bit. For 32 bit, only the theme will work. Do not try to use the explorerframe.dll with 32bit until I release a 32 bit version.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download Universal Theme Patcher [link]
Run in it Administrative mode (right-click > "Run as administrator"). After patch, restart the computer to take effect.

2. Extract contents of theme. Copy the "Win8 Aero" folder and "Win8 Aero.theme" to "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\".

3. (Optional, replaces explorer forward/back buttons) Take ownership of explorerframe.dll in System32 folder and copy the appropriate explorerframe.dll to replace the original. Make sure to make a backup of the original in case of instability.

4. Restart computer

PS: If any of you like the theme and are better with Photoshop than I am, would any of you like to make an image to show off the theme to replace the boring screenshot I have?
