Pumping up his muscles for the Sega Superstar Smackdown roster, is GonGon. The capsule-rolling simian powerhouse trains to be the strongest ape in the world, he has the skills to prove it. GonGon wears his iconic tank top for his Type 1 and signature attire, while he wears a banana bunch tank top and low-tech sneakers for his Type 2 attire. As his base stats indicate, he has the best Strength in the roster, very expected for a gorilla. This trait is complemented by brilliant Roughneck, as well as great Agility, Toughness and Vitality. His impressive stats come with a trade, as he has the worst Recovery, and he lacks Firepower. This isn't helped by average Traction, Aerobility and Range, but it is helped by good Shield and Speed. With all this in consideration, his base stats indicate him to be a Lightning Bruiser, albeit of the fast-moving powerhouse variety. So brace yourself for his might, or you'll be clobbered. There's a reason why he was the leader of the gorillas from a distant island adjacent to Jungle Island.
