There are so many Meta Knight fans out there, and we're no exception. Meta Knight has his share of buffs and nerfs between Smash installments, just like Kirby, but in different ways. That said, his moveset hasn't changed that much from how it was in Smash Ultimate. Aside from the added dash special, and two extra final smashes, with one of them containing his previously cut Galaxia Darkness. Meta Knight appears in his iconic getup for his Type 1 and signature attire, while he appears in yarn texture for his Type 2 attire. His base stats indicate Mechanically Unusual Fighter this time, but he's not without weaknesses. He lacks quality of utility, and his average Range doesn't help matters much. On the upside however, he moves fast, and hits hard as well as carry objects effortlessly. His biggest asset is his jumping prowess and recovery options. With his base stats and moveset, it's debatable whether he will be OP like in Smash Brawl, or just top tier like Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate.
