Traveling through the atmosphere is Sky Fortress Zone, located during the Tornado Chase in the skies and surroundings of Dr. Eggman's airship, and the fourth zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II. A supergiant flying fortress made to be the climatic line of defense. Can fighters fend off the relentless chase from Metal Sonic's cronies in a high-altitude battle? This is Metal Sonic's signature stage, given as this is where he was the predator, but it can also be home to other Sonic characters, especially ones of the Sonic head icon. Sky Fortress Zone can be fought at in the Evening, Night, Morning or Afternoon. Even without relying on the real time. It has its 4 designated soundtracks, but there's always a chance to either switch them around.
