Holy crap. I love this. Actually, I just really love Adrien Brody. Is it weird that I think he's really hot? Haha. It probably is.

As usual this is awesome, as I said we can never find a tutorial that covers all this stuff ..
How long did it took ?
I think it should be great for you and for the deviantart community to post a video tutorial on how to create just one of your artwork with illustrator ..
Again, you're an artist and I love your work !

Yeah but u shouldnt make a 6hours tutorial, you just should give your tips and what you use the most on illustrator.. is it the pen tool that u use or the brushes

I use both, but mostly pen tool.
I wouldn't make a video tutorial, but a step by step one.

If I was a premium member, I would write out a critique, but since I'm not you'll have to settle for a well thought-out comment instead. (:
There are a lot of things that I love about this piece. The overall image of Adrian Brody is lively and comical and very inviting. When I saw it I immediately clicked on it because the actor has a movie that came out yesterday, and also because the image looked like it had nothing to do with the movie. It was relevant, but not a fan-work, which was good for me in particular.
What I really love is your layering technique. It's one that I try to use myself, and I don't know why other vector/vexel artists don't take advantage of it's unique appearance. The layers are asymmetrical, meaning that they aren't similar shapes stacked on top of each other. I like this because it's interesting to look at, and because light never plays perfectly on anybody's face.
I like the simplicity of the hair. I often feel like when vector/vexel artists get to the hair they go overboard with doing all the strands. That method crowds up the piece and takes away focus from the model (unless the photo was about the hair, then by all means...) This piece doesn't go crazy with the hair, just does a nice silhouette and shows the important, lighter pieces. I dig the eyebrows, because eyebrows are something that's hard for me to do and this is something I can look at and try to emulate (copy!) in my own pieces.
The shading is nice. It's smooth and I really like the use of red in the middle, instead of all black. Maybe some blue (I find that green works like a charm, oddly enough) might have helped put some diversity in the shading, but then again I think the facial expression (lips) is what's more important, so it doesn't much matter. It looks amazing the way it is.
As for the textures, I like them, but I feel like they're too opaque. The vest texture seems like denim to me because the threads are very large. I don't think vests usually come with large threads like that, but that's also me being nit-picky. (: Personally, I don't like the background texture at all. I think the grunge is not appropriate for the smooth and playful character and that it, also, is too opaque. Since the background is relatively small, maybe a simple gradient, or starburst or stripes would have worked.
Overall, I really like this piece. I love how it's layers are asymmetrical and has odd colors in the shading, as well as lines of black in the particularly dark areas. A very good job! This is a piece that I'll stare at while doing my own art so I can hopefully make mine look as awesome. (:
Good luck!
