Why did you think it was horrifying, I (for some reason) thought it was very sexy.

I just don't consider body hair a fun thing so I practically coat myself with Nair. Also when I get pregnant I will defiantly be keeping up on the landscaping I don't want my kid to a rug rash coming out.

pffttt.......thank you. xD I literally laughed out loud at this. xD
but i donno. on a serious note. it's cleaner to shave just so ya' know. not like, wax it all off, that's like a fucking child...i find that much disgusting. but keeping it maintained is a good thing. and i use 6 square's...im less then a barbarian? 0,o lmao
.......i did not think that that was going to be the idea in this comic...ima go back to laughing now. xD

I know lots of hippies who would disagree with you on the cleanliness front. And only six squares? You're dainty.

I love how Daphne just looks and says nothing. Was she too traumatized or too smart?

ElectricGecko In reply to BrightAbysmal [2013-08-21 01:43:32 +0000 UTC]
I'd say more dumbfounded than traumatized. I mean, what're you going to say? Only foolish people comment in that situation. Hence the fact that Phoebe commented.

Personally I make origami swans to use for wiping my butt. However you're very spot on with the point.

Well, if that ain't elegant, I don't know what is. Although the concept of poop-stained origami swans floating in a toilet bowl is just ... wrong.

Love both of course!
By the way, my mother always told us to use one square for No. 1 and two for No. 2. Of course that is impossible!

its just another thing for girls to overly judge other girls.
I laugh at how people have such strong opinions and how polarizing it is. as if the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
I'm just happy if I get to see anything down there.
from what I've been told its almost impossible to keep up the maintenance when one is that preggo, unless u have someone to help ( that was an odd conversation I had, "my husband would do it for me")
red heads should have at least some, the red hair looks cute down there (I can't believe Im talking about this)

The funniest part of this is so few of your readers got the joke , which I found hilarious . But come on she can't even see it to trim it .
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ElectricGecko In reply to JARM13 [2013-08-20 15:14:51 +0000 UTC]
Well, part of it is that my readership on dA is pretty international in comparison to my readership on the comic's own site. I don't think female grooming tendencies over the decades translate well elsewhere. And as for the trimming, it's a little challenging when there's a watermelon in the way.

ElectricGecko In reply to Tai-Porto [2013-08-20 12:52:53 +0000 UTC]
It has to do with the changing cultural tastes in trim styles for women's nether regions. The 70s didn't really believe in trimming.

Tai-Porto In reply to ElectricGecko [2013-08-20 17:15:21 +0000 UTC]
oooh, it's a shaving joke... ok... now I get it!!! yeah I know, in the 70s girls and guys didn't know what shaving is for some reason.
I thought it's about the giving birth it's self.

This current fad for women to shave so they look prepubescent really does nothing for me at all...and don't even get me going on the fake boob epidemic! This is one reason I love the old exploitation flicks: real, natural-looking women!

I think a lot of guys actually feel that way. That's what I like about this retro burlesque stuff: there are lots of different types of gals and it seems more natural and fun.

JARM13 In reply to Huwman [2013-08-20 20:53:01 +0000 UTC]
Chuckle , I noticed at work some guys loved the pencil thin flat chested ladies above all others and other guys liked the plumpers " the really heavy gals " and everyone had their favorite . Of course what I told the young guys was it's fine to like a woman for how she looks , but you really do want to marry the lady for how she thinks and acts . Simply put I told them they want to marry a friend cause a friend sticks with you when the going gets tough.

I think the epidemic of shaving is just bizarre myself. The 70s knew what was going on, in my opinion.
