Description
I went to the Ann Arbor Matthaei Botanical Gardens last week to shoot some flowers. I only took photos for a half an hour before the batteries died (for some reason.) But I took a number of photos while I was in the cactus area, and this is one of them. Cactuses are really beautiful, if you look at them with a certain eye. And I hope I've captured that with this photo.

This is pretty much out-of-the-camera, aside from some tone & color adjustments. Specifically, I darkened the edges of the photo and toned down the vibrant green of the cactus, and then cropped closer in to focus more on the in-focus area of the cactus.
