Can you point some links to me to see in practice/ drawing steps how you change the angle please ?
I cannot understand, how you look like a spot in the circle while you have low angle than your height or equal of.
May I also ask what these central 2 poles are please ?

this is wonderful. very clever and totally psychadelic. really inspiring but i don't think i'm up to do the kind of work you must have put into it.
nice job.

i can imagine. i wouldn't even know where to start. did you use a special tripod?

i did this with a normal tripod. i wasn't quite sure how this was going to work or what it would look like, but i thought it would be cool to do a panoramic, but then go up and down as well as left to right. i stood in the center and took about 75 pictures, then stitched it all together and turned it into a circle in photoshop.

so did you use any software help you stitch the pictures together? where they digital pics?

electricjonny In reply to areml [2004-11-03 08:52:26 +0000 UTC]
i shot them all with a digital camera (only because film is expensive and a pain to scan). i only used photoshop for the stitching. the shots along the horizon were fairly simple to stitch together, but as i was stitching the ones lower to the ground (towords the center) i had to transform each image a fair bit to get them to line up right. and even then the center looked really warped. it took a lot of little adjustments to get some things to line up right.

thanks for the info. how many hours?

hmm, hard to say. i worked on it for about 5 days for about 2-3 hours a day, then came back to it later to sort of polish it up. probebly about 20 hours or so.
