It is green o_O Maybe your screen is showing up bluish? The snake is on a green field, and the entire crest is on a black background.

When I enlarge it I see sort of a teal blue-- greenish but not true green. The white (or silver?) curlicues also have a blue tinge, which contributes to the over-all blueness at the smaller size. It must be the monitor. I had this happen before, when Ron Weasley's hair in the original drawing was apparently bright orange, but on my screen it looked brown with orange tints. One of the dangers of viewing art on the web!
