I don't know the original version but
I would have add more frames on the punch impact, because the eye doesn't have the time to see all the action. I mean, it seems (a bit) like he's projected as soon as she touches him.
If you watch to some slow motion punching video you'll see that the projection is a little bit after the impact.

I can see better on the slow version, you did you well.just need some delay.
when i talk about adding frames I mean duplicate the same image on more frames to make some key moments looks a little longer.
Every image doesnt have to have the same amount of frames, that's what I mean
