The name of the actor who played "Mother" (and who only appeared in that role the year Linda Thornton was "Tara King") was Patrick Newell. Newell had been in other roles in earlier episodes.

Merci ! Quand j'aurai le temps je le continuerai, car il est question que je fasse son autre bras qui porterai un combiné de téléhone ( rouge ) à son oreille Et en principe il a une chevalière à sa main gauche.

I love the Avengers. I used to love watching the black and white Diana Rigg eps on Channel 4 after school when I was a kid.

Steed was class. Not all 'that' mad on the Linda Thornsen run.
