EleeceFace In reply to ??? [2014-05-30 21:37:29 +0000 UTC]
Thanks ^_^
eeep, sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I started Grad school this past fall and it pretty much takes up all my free time.
I would think any of my looks that incorporate green would suit green eyes well. Are they a dark green or light green? I sometimes liek to do very dark eye makeup to make the blue of my eyes look lighter and stand out more. I'm sure that would work with green eyes as well. I've also found that browns work well with green. Something like this might work well eleeceface.deviantart.com/art/… (you obviously wouldn't need the dots, that was part of a larger piece)

I'd like to know what makeup brushes you use as well.

Oh dear, I'm not even sure. most of the brushes I have are cheap drug store brand brushes. the only expensive brush I own is my Body Shop face brush that I only use to apply my mineral foundation. I also have several brushes from Color Workshop kits I have received. I'm quite fond of the generic brushes I got from Walgreens. I believe the brand is "Perfection". I believe that's just the name for the Walgreens brand of cosmetic stuff.

well, most of the stuff I used in this one was either Ben Nye or Kryolan. But I have more brands of makeup than you can imagine lol. I just kinda pick up things that catch my eye. I have a soft spot for Ben Nye products simply because I grew up a theater kid. Here are some of the brands I use:
Ben Nye, Loreal, Kryolan, Love Bunny (Japanese Brand), Love My Eyes, Bon Bons, Rimmel, Lancome, Esday Lauder (I know I spelled that wrong XD), Afterthoughts, Loujene (Japanese Brand), Pure Luxe, Milani, Color Workshop, Mary Quant, Max Factor, Maybelline, MAC, Cover Girl, Wet 'n' Wild, Cuore (Japanese Brand), Fira Beauty, just to name a few lol

Thank you very much. Basically with blending you just slowly work from one color to the other. I'll place my first color where I want it and then soften the edges. Then I'll place my second color where I want it and slowly work it into the other color. It takes a little bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it it's easy ^_^. Just play around with it. Not everything you do at first will turn out great, but the more you play with it the better you'll get

I dunno, I just always have lol. Pastel pinks and pinks that verge on lavender usually don't bother me, but hot pink tends to really bug me. It's just so obnoxious lol

doesn't hurt to try, and you can always modify it to meet your needs. it's not too complicated.

okay so do you have advice for someone with makeup issues.
everytime i do pretty shadow with multiplue colors..they all blend in and run together after awhile.
its quite depressing. And my white shadow..nevers goes white! its blends to much into skin.

EleeceFace In reply to xfabulousxnotx [2007-09-18 06:23:22 +0000 UTC]
I suggest getting a primer. I use Loreal Decrease. It helps colors stick and helps stop it from getting creasy. It still will eventually, you can't get makeup to stay on forever lol, but it helps keep it looking nice for much longer. Also, if you want a really vibrant white it helps to use a white cream color first, and then apply powder. You don't need to use a lot of it, just enough to make your skin tackey and leave a little pigment. It not only helps the pigment, but it helps the eye shadow stick as well.

Awwww, Thank you very much. Yeah, I've had a few people tell me I should try and do some commission work for Ben Nye, cuz I've gotten several people to buy some Ben Nye stuff by looking at some of my looks lol
hmmmm I believe it was a white shimmer by Bon Bon's, but it could have been Ice from the Ben Nye Palette as well. either way, on this one I used a bit of the Rimmel Kajal soft kohl pencil in pure white as a little bit of a base. I wanted the white to really pop.

I'm not sure. if I were you I'd check any theater/costume shops, because Ben Nye is a Theater Makeup Company. It is avalible online though.
