Sakura sat in her apartment playing a song on the piano that she had spent a better part of last night and this morning working on. Her apartment had 1 large bedroom with its own bathroom, a kitchen, living room, dining room (which she used as a music room since she never invited people over for... personal reasons), another small bathroom down the hall from a small room that could be an office or guest room, a balcony over-looking a section of the neighbourhood, and a large window with a spectacular view of the sky.

All in all, it was a very nice apartment, painted white with a red couch and warm accessories decorating the rest of the room. However, it was very lonely.
Sakura was in hiding, in a way, from her father and his minions as she liked to call them. They were constantly searching for her, but she made sure that she was never found. She had run away from home when she was 14 years old, and she was now 17.

I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since I left home. Well, it's not like I'm going back...

Sakura shook her head to get rid of the sad thoughts floating around and padded barefoot to her bedroom to change out of her pyjamas. It was 12:30 after all. She shed her flannel pants and tank top and decided to dress comfortably today, selecting a pair of black yoga capris and a simple white t- shirt layered over a black tank top.

She stepped into the bathroom to quickly brush the taste of coffee out of her mouth and brushed her long, pink hair. She debated putting it into a ponytail, but decided to leave it down.

She walked back to her piano, which was a "gift" from her father. He didn't know it, but she had been taking money from his substantial bank account to support herself (Singing at the club could only bring in so much money you know.). She also owned an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, an amp, a violin, and she bought a recording and editing program for her computer so that she could record and edit songs that she wrote. All of this bought with her father's money.

She sat on the shiny black piano bench and picked up the sheet music she had been working on. She hummed to herself as she added in a few more music notes to the end of a bar. Chewing lightly on the end of her pencil before setting it down, she began to play once again.

She stopped singing when she heard her cell phone ring.

She slid the bench back, walked over to the kitchen counter, and picked up her phone, smiling when she saw who was calling. She slid her phone open and put it to her ear.

"Hello?"

"Are you busy today?" Sasuke asked.

"No, why?"

"Hn. I'm coming over so we can work on the song."

Sakura smiled at his bluntness,"Alright. Listen, um, my apartment is in my... Aunt's name. But it's the same number that I gave you."

"Hn."

Sakura hung up her phone and leaned against her hip against the smooth edge of the counter.

Holy crap! I have to clean my apartment!

With that thought, she took off at the speed of light, tidying up an already neat apartment awaiting the arrival of her object of affection.
