Sasuke sat in his world politics class bored out of his mind. The teacher droned on and on about things he already knew. He really didn't know why his father made him take this class; he already understood the government systems of most countries in the world. He would much rather be sitting with Sakura writing a song. He would never admit this fact to anyone.

Rather than sit in his desk doing nothing, he began to plan out the rest of his day. He had three more classes until the end of the day, and he had a dance class after school.

Yes. Uchiha Sasuke took dance class. All Uchihas had to be graceful, so Sasuke took ballroom dance classes and he took hip hop classes to stay in shape. Not only that, but his father threw a lot of parties and galas for his company to impress all of his coworkers and friends, so he had to know how to do important dances such as the waltz to keep up the good Uchiha reputation.

This train of thought led him to Sakura. He knew she took ballet, but he wondered if she took any other kind of dance classes. The bell signalling the end of class broke his train of thought and he quickly gathered his belongings and left the classroom.

Karin sat in her English class glaring holes into the back of Sakura's pink head.

That stupid little BITCH! She probably spent the whole weekend with my Sasuke-kun doing Kami-sama knows what!

She chewed on her wooden pencil in agitation.

I need to get this job done fast before things get any worse. Haruno-san will have my head if anything goes wrong. I'll call him later to see what he wants us to do.

Sakura, in the meantime, was busy finishing up the questions that the class had been assigned. As she closed her book and waited for the bell, she thought about Sasuke. She greatly enjoyed the day they had spent together that weekend, but she knew it would be short lived. After this year she would never see him again, not only because he was going off to university, but for his own safety. She couldn't risk being so close to someone, especially with a father like hers.

For the past 3 years or so she had been on the run, and he had been on the hunt. She was something he wanted you see, and she wasn't planning on going back. When she was 8 years old her mother had died. A rival gang member had shot and killed her while she was walking Sakura home from school. Her father blamed her completely.

Sakura squeezed her pencil. She would never forgive her father for all that he's done to her. No child that young should have to go through what she went through. Her father was not opposed to hitting a child. Nor was he opposed to having other people hurt her. Her hand traveled down to her stomach where a three inch scar marked her stomach and went through to her back. When she was thirteen, her father had made her sit with some of the other members of the gang during a... gathering, she supposed. She couldn't really call it a party because all they did was sit around and drink and play cards.

One of the gang members, a creepy, snake-like man named Orochimaru, had been extremely intoxicated that night and had called her over to talk to her. He had told her that he planned to buy her. Her father really had no use for her after all, and he was willing to pay a very good price. Sakura sat there in shock and he wrapped an arm around her shoulder, resting his other hand on her thigh. Sakura immediately stood and slapped his hand away, but he pulled a dagger from within his robe and held it to her face, threatening to cut her up. She had no choice but to sit down again. For the rest of the night, she sat beside him while he touched her with those pale hands of his and licked her skin with his freakishly long tongue.

When all the men left for the night, Sakura stood to leave as well, but Orochimaru pinned her against a wall. She struggled to get away, even called her father, but he simply looked at her and walked out the door.

She began to cry and Orochimaru licked her tears away. She couldn't take this anymore, she punched him in the stomach and tried to run out the door, but Orochimaru stabbed her in the stomach.

She remembered how he had stood over her as she bled on the floor. He promised that one day he would have her, and left.

She promised herself that day that she would not take anymore of her father's gang bullshit. She was a trained fighter after all. Her father had had her train with a different martial arts master every year since she was three years old after all.

That day she saw a doctor and had her wound bandaged up and cleaned. She went home and, in the middle of the night, snuck out with her belongings. She had gone to her mother's friend's house. He was also one of the sensei's that she had trained with by the name of Hatake Kakashi. He was also the literature teacher at her school, the class she was currently sitting in.

The bell rang. Sakura took a deep breath and shook her head to get rid of the memories that haunted her.
