Dark, but still soft and beautiful. Very nice.

I love how dark and yet how innocent this piece is. The way you combine the webs of a spider as strings for a puppet, makes me feel as if she isn't in control of her life. The extra arms are a nice touch, it's as if she's becoming something or someone else. The detail on the stone work above and below her is excellent i love the splashes of blue you throw in there. would love to see more.

Wow thank you very much for your comment!
The puppet thing was not on purpose, but when you say it I can understand it and wish that it was intended

Sometimes its good to hear what other people interpret your work as. Kinda gives you more of an insight to other venues to travel down. lol i haven't done many abstract pieces in a long time but i always loved trying to read into another's work.
what was your motive when you did A spiders tale? I know that for me at least i don't always have a motive and it just sort of comes out on paper and even in ways i didn't expect.

I love hearing what people see and don't see, it makes you grow as an artist

I think that there are two kinds om pictures, one that comes from your head and one that comes from the paper. Some pictures just seems to be in the paper before you draw them, thay change as the grow. This was as most pictures a little bit of both, I had a small idea and did a few sketches before I painted it, but I didn't have the complete piece in my head. But now from this painting I would like to make a story, so maby there will be a complete "A spiders tale" someday..

I certainly hope that that happens for you. It's always a good feeling to have one thing you do motivate you into doing another. ;D
