Congratulations on the DD! I really like this. I can see the meaning of it going several different ways, is it supposed to be a commentary on self-image and how we deprive ourselves of small pleasures? Or is there a different message?

More than anything I like the colors and the contrast between all those colorful tasty looking pastries and her clothes in black and white.
As if the food is putting the color in her life.
Very cute story. I cannot help but feel sad for her though. She does not look happy at the end, she looks so sadly at the carrot.
