• Turn the flag of your country of residence into an emoticon... If one already exists... Make an item that represents your country best into an emoticon...

• Take a sketchbook and some pencils and go into the city. As you walk, analyze architecture of the buildings in your area. Sketch what you like, draw textures of things you like, contour drawings, whatever. When you return home, combine ideas together and do a drawing of a building or set of buildings or whatever, but remember, it has to utilize EVERYTHING you sketched down.
• Look at Japanese animes and mangas. Try to imitate not only what the artists have drawn, but their style as well. Try to integrate their style into your own. THIS WILL TAKE TIME. HAVE PATIENCE.
• Draw designs from web sites you like. It doesn\'t matter what the design actually is; it can be ANY portion of a website. Draw it out, and then attempt to imitate it in coding or image-producing programs.
• Using photo references, draw humans or landscapes (whichever is more comfortable for you). Be as detailed as possible without grueling over the details for ten or twenty hours. If it takes more than 3 or 4 hours, stop drawing and try to generalize the image or learn ways to IMPLY details by shading.

• Think back in your life to a time when your feelings were the strongest. Be it pain, sadness, happiness, or whatever. Think of the thing that made you feel that way, and think about that thing and your feeling for at least five minutes. Then brainstorm ways you can covey that feeling and thing through photograph, drawing, poem, prose, or whatever you feel like doing. Use the emotion from thinking of that thing and feeling to make that piece of art even better.

• develop an imaginary personality through a collection of \"photo negatives\" illustrating the life of a person who never got around to developing these pictures, for some reason.
• randomly pick a word out of the dictionary and write a descriptive poem about it without using the actual word. Pretend like you\'re describing this thing/action to someone who has never heard of it.

• \"I got this idea for a picture of a man jumping out of a window, fully dressed in a tuxedo like he is about to get married. Sick idea maybe but it just came to me. There ya go.

• The moon crashes into the earth, leaving only a few hundred people left, along with tides, earthquakes, and the like. Then the cockroaches start swarming, reclaiming what was once theirs.

• get a picture of an American Indian dressed in full ceremonial garb dancing in a circle around the emblem of a US> GOV organization - say the department of defense- and maybe it could be titled \"Last Defense\". It would show the irony of how even though this is their land, they have no defense or rights or anything.

• Random Scribbles. Don\'t go overboard, but start off a drawing with a few random scribbles, then sit back and see what your mind turns those random lines into. Once you see it, elaborate off what you just randomly doodled, and most likely it will become something very unique yet cool if taken care of properly!

• Take a picture of yourself and divide it in half. Leave one half as is and remove the other half leaving only the outline. Fill the missing half in with a collage of pictures that represent your personality or things that you like to do.

also along sculpture lines, dancing clay figures .. animals and humans, I guess I am thinking of something of a bacchanalia scene. wine, women and song..
• song inspired drawings... get people to illustrate their favorite song in the media of their choice

• After listening to \"Stairway to Heaven\" several times over, I thought up an idea for an art piece. There would be a Stairway to Heaven, and one to hell also. You could show how you think each would look. (how the stairs were, the entry way, the guards) Then in the middle you could have someone waiting to go either way.
